RSC Theatre

The Royal Shakespeare Theatre is a popular tourist attraction, well-known for its spectacular renditions of Shakespearean classics, as well as debuting entirely unique plays. 

Enter the seats and watch one of the Theatre's exciting plays,  or alternatively visit the roof top restaurant, where you can enjoy the view of the town and the river over some delicious afternoon cream tea.

Blenheim Palace and Oxford

Less than an hour's ride from Stratford are the magnificent grounds of Blenheim Palace. Not only is this fantastic manor house a UNESCO World Heritage site, but it is also the birth place of Winston Churchill, arguably one of the most influential figures in British history. Stroll through the picture-perfect gardens and parks, or explore the interior of the palace, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture. You can enjoy the beauty and the magnificence of this building and it will be a breathtaking experience. The group can spend the afternoon in the famous university city of Oxford, just a short drive away from Blenheim Palace.


Stratford upon Avon is an ideal location to visit some of the most pretty villages in the Cotswolds.  The charming village of Bourton-on-the-Water is situated south of Stratford and is regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in England. 

Known as the "jewel of the Cotswolds", Broadway is less than 30 minutes from Stratford upon Avon. The pretty High Street is lined with horse chestnut trees and picturesque honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages.

Once described by William Morris (1834-96) as "the most beautiful village in England", Bibury is less than 1-hour drive from Stratford upon Avon.

Warwick Castle

10 miles from Stratford is the historic Warwick Castle with its amazing grounds. This beautiful medieval castle is full of history and adventure. Experience a millennium of history and witness some of the darkest times in the castle’s history by visiting the dungeon, or enter the Time Tower for the essence of Warwick Castle’s rich and vibrant history.


The nation's fascinating capital city, London is only 2 hours away from Stratford upon Avon and well within day-trip distance. Its historic significance and impressive scale make it a must-see destination for anyone visiting England.

On the banks of the river Thames stand the imposing Houses of Parliament and the iconic ‘Big Ben’ clock tower. Across the River, the London Eye provides panoramic views of the entire city. You can visit the Tower of London, take a tour of Buckingham Palace or visit St Paul's Cathedral and enjoy spectacular views from its dome across London. You can see Egyptian mummies at the British Museum or simply enjoy the beauty of Hyde Park -  simply spoilt for choice! 

Stratford Upon Avon

Stratford upon Avon is brimming with history and interest - you can visit all 5 Shakespeare houses; Shakespeare's birthplace, Anne Hathaway's cottage, Shakespeare's new place, Hall's Croft and Mary Arden's farm.

Shakespeare's final resting place, the Holy Trinity Church is only a short walk from the town centre, and is visited by thousand of visitors every year.

Alternatively, visit Stratford-upon-Avon's little gem: the Butterfly farm, filled with beautiful flowers and exotic butterflies.

You can also simply take a gentle stroll across the beautiful riverside and town centre while enjoying the view of the peaceful river.
